A La Place Clichy Poster Size:15 x 12 and is missing a piece"A La Place Clichy Le Premiere Maison du monde pour ses importations orientales Tapis, Broderies, Armes, Faiences, Etc., Etc." This vintage print advertises the Place de Clichy, one of few cities in France where the four arrondissements meet at a single point. Because of its central location, the city was known as a place where international imports were sold. Such imports as featured in this poster included oriental rugs, weapons, and earthenware.
