RIO's Carp Cupcake Color:Black heavy nymphs whose sole purpose

heavy nymphs whose sole purpose is to sink other "more attractive" flies on droppers quickly

I believe that most bonefish flies lack the quality that we refer to as "bugginess" in freshwater flies

but if the fly needs to get a bit deeper - throw some lead weight wraps to keel weight the fly and the swim pattern and drop can be tweaked

but tied on a straight hook shank and with no knots in the legs

RIO's Carp Cupcake Color:Black heavy nymphs whose sole purposeOne of the flies I designed for redfish was the RIO's Muffin Top, which had a long flashabou tail meant to entice redfish. Last summer I was approached by a few of our marketing team members and told that they had been taking the RIO's Muffin Top, cutting the tail off, and slaying carp on it for years. So this fly is the tail less version of the RIO's Muffin Top and apparently the best carp fly out there.
