Victorian Pearl AEI Memorial Locket pendants Ob 6 Nov 1828 AETDATE: Victorian, c. 1880 AEI Amity, Eternity and Infinity. The AEI sentiment was popular throughout the Victorian period as a representation of eternal love conquering even death. This is our favoured interpretation, however some suggest the AEI references the Greek word "aei", meaning for now and forever. They essentially amount to the same thing. This locket dates from the latter half 19th Century, finished in black enamel to the front and back (and
