Turkey, Ottoman Empire. A War Medal, Gallipoli Star, By Godet, C.1915 Newly Listed Of very fine quality workmanship(Harp Madalyasi). Instituted in 1915. In silver with red enamels, ball finials on the tips of the star points, German made by Godet, marked "SILBER" (silver in German) on the pin, measuring 58 mm (w) x 56 mm (h), vertical pinback, intact enamels, the 38 mm (w) x 7. 3 mm (h) clasp with pinback unmounted and independent of the medal, extremely fine. Footnote: The Gallipolli Star was a military decoration awarded by the Ottoman Empire. It is also known
