326g Bright Red Ammolite Fossil Specimen welo I would like to note

I would like to note that it does look like it was polished on one facet on the termination of the large crystal

but this piece is very fine cutting material that will have a great yield in a finished gem

They make amazing display specimens

326g Bright Red Ammolite Fossil Specimen welo I would like to noteThis naturally bright & colorful specimen is a fragment of a full ammolite fossil. Stabilizing and polishing these specimens is typical from this source. This piece is very bright and is double sided showing colors of mainly red and orange on both sides. This is a self standing piece and does not require a prop. I acquired this piece in September of 2022 during my trip to the ammolite mines in Canada. An outstanding specimen from the locality.
