Senecio Size:41-46 knitted from every green andPaul Klee painted Senecio in 1922, when he worked at the Bauhaus art school in Weimar. Youll see a round face made up of flat planes of orange, pink, yellow and white. The eyes are not at the same height. The expression is hard to pin down: it seems to hover somewhere between calm and confusion. The official title of the painting is 'Head of an Aging Man', but the face feels both childlike and wise at the same time. Theres something about this work
