Salvia glabrescens Dark Hearts North America The pitcher and spadix areSalvia 'Dark Hearts' has proven to be an amazing garden performer, from our friends at Issima Nursery. In three years in our garden, the clumping Salvia glabrescens 'Dark Hearts' has formed a spectacular 2' tall x 7' wide specimen, whose bicolor, light and dark pink flowers first open for us in early October, just as other perennials are shutting down for the year.
