1939 Print Hiram Walker Peoria Illinois Alcohol Vat Yeast Beverage Drink FZ2 & Liquor Egyptian Historic LandmarksThis is an original 1939 halftone print of the Hiram Walker distillery in Peoria, Illinois. The caption writes, "These vats, of which Hiram Walker has twenty four, hold 120,000 gallons each. Temperatures are automatically controlled, and the vats sealed against wild yeast in the air, which could otherwise spoil a batch in short order. After each run the round sides of the vats are sterilized with live steam." Photography by Fred Korth. CONDITION This
